Movies is one of the five free topics in Trivial. Rounds range from family animation to 1970s thrillers, and the free-text questions are where film fans pull ahead.
If a whole room loves one franchise, type it as a custom topic instead. Trivial will build a round around just that.

Movie questions often hinge on a single production detail: a prop, a speed, a room number. Behind-the-scenes stories make the best answers to remember.
For type-the-answer questions you can usually drop the "The" in a title. Trivial ignores a leading article when it checks your answer.
In a room, every correct answer is worth 500 points plus a speed bonus of up to 500 more, so knowing it fast matters as much as knowing it. The full rules are on How to Play.
Every question on this page was first served in a real Trivial game, then pulled from the game's question bank, checked against the answer and rewritten with an explanation. Questions whose answer is disputed were left out. If you think one is wrong, email support@flayrlabs.com and we will fix it. The library overview explains the process in more detail.
